There are different types of hardness. In this way we explain the different types.

1) For each type, the Brinell hardness decreases with increasing wall thickness.
2) If it has been agreed between the supplier and the buyer, a limited hardness may be permitted for an agreed location of the casting. This is no less than 40 Brinell units.
